Paying for Your Remote Consultation

Rates for consultations are billed by the minute at our standard rate.  Payment may be in the form of a credit card or check via PayPal.  We must have a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) on file before booking your first consult.  The credit card you use to hold your appointment will be charged at the conclusion of the visit unless you specify another means of payment when you book your appointment.  Our standard cancellation policies apply.  If you have questions regarding rates or billing, please call us at 1 (855) 855-5432 for more information. 

Your insurer may cover remote consultation.  Most plans cover lab costs regardless of the ordering provider.  Most PPO plans provide coverage for our services as out-of-network healthcare expenses, and you may use flex spending and health savings account (HSA) funds to pay for both consult fees and treatments.  We will provide a complimentary check with your insurance company to see if your policy covers remote consultation.

While fees for services and treatments are due at the time that they are rendered, we recognize and respect the desire of our patients to get the absolute most out of their healthcare dollars.  Thus, as a courtesy to our patients, after we receive payment in full, we will submit a claim to your insurance company on your behalf.  The reimbursement will be sent directly to you from your insurance company in the form of a check.

Our remote services are not a substitute for a visit to your primary care physician. Consultations complement and enhance the care you are receiving from your conventional local doctor.
